Can run into problems the mate is a sparky. My mate was supposed to have done the electrics for my workshop over a month ago. He will do it for peanuts for me but the trouble is you don't want to hassle him and as he will be doing it for peanuts he puts his main work first.
It's one of those things I would be happy to pay extra but as he's a mate he won't charge it.
I feel bad getting someone else in as he's my mate and would probably take offense.
Talk about catch 22.
I have had him do things for me before and as you said its hard work getting them round.. He works at a rate superman would struggle to keep up with.. But I do pay him but at a lower rate then anyone else would pay..

any windows going in dont know what time you took that photo but some natural light is better to warm the place than none at all

My mate had a building plot for his 21st birthday from his dad and only 29 years later he finished the house just in time for his joint 50th birthday and his grandsons 3rd birthday, You can't rush some things but we are talking about building a shed in his garden soon lol

Yeah I took so long as said funds and life in general. I had only got to this stage as I needed help as I do suffer with my back.
Photo was taken last week. I will be having upvc second hand window installed. So it will probably be a odd Windows till I can afford better ones.
Yes blue DPM as I didn't have enough black DPM .

Just looking at the insulation side of things colex insulation boards. I have used 4x2 for the walls.
Now I'm not sure on the thickness I should use ? I was thinking am I supposed to leave a void between the breathable membrane and the colex insulation board ? If so how much ?
Or is it just a situation of pushing the colex back so no void between breathable membrane and colex insulation board? I do plan on using the silver tape on all joints. It shall be overboarded with ply or OSB.
Help and advice is most welcome as I mite be doing the incorrect procedure.
