AFAIK It isn't available on eBay.

A few pages ago @www_weldes_de said that eBay and Amazon sellers had been instructed to cease selling that model.

Im not getting on with the torch, handle too long or Im not holding it right. Button is ok, but easily pressed by accident.
Does the body come apart?
When my spare dinse plug arrives I'll try a 17 torch, but I need to rig up a button.

There's a collar at each end of the body. You twist those off and the body splits in two.

I replaced mine with a cylindrical tig handle like this.

However once you attach a new button switch to the new handle it is not really any less bulky that the one you started with. Instead I would reccommend just replacing the head for a flexible one like this.

The button, like you say, is on a bit of a hair trigger but I use the pedal more often that not so it is not so much of a problem.

Mine the top collar doesnt move, like it is glued in, tried with a screwdriver in the slot.

Maybe you need to be more brutal assuming your handle isn't a different model? I will get a pic of my old handle in the morning. Cant remember if I stuck it in the vice or used an adjustable spanner on it.

You would get on a lot better with the torch if you fitted a flexi neck to it. To do that it is simple, just pull the neck out the body, cut the heat shrink off and then undo the nut, screw in the new flexi and tighten and push back into the body. No need for new heatshrink.

Does this help Kram? You can see the tabs at the top end and the L shaped slot at the botton end. I think you need to be a bit firmer with it and prise the top collar off. The bottom should twist off. If you end up breaking yours you can have this one as it's just taking up space in a drawer.

Its the handle/neck length thats annoying me. I assume it needs to be that long in the traditional tig torch shape to stop burnt hands/gas hose but its not the most dexterous way to hold something.

Not sure how the collet works on these without a back cap? Any good?

That wouldn't fit your torch cable, the thread is much smaller that that on the WP26.
Get a WP26 flexi and you can bend it to suit.

Good point about the cable, more so all the collet bits. Tried torch without the plastic shell. One layer of gaffer tape with bare hands will give little shocks Button is much better on its own and in the right place.

I have no use for a watercooled torch (weight, extra hoses, or complexity), but I am interested to know, what part is watercooled? Just the neck, or does water flow around the head as well? Had a good look on google, couldnt find any cut away pics or diagrams
