I was wondering if they did bigger vices in that style. Pitty no anvil on these though.
It would have to be a replacement for my 112 though and it sure I'd want to beat on an old split rear jaw fortis.
I keep looking out for a 6" jaw ajax or fortis, the swoop ones. I'd swap the 112 out for one of those.
There is a nice Ajax one for sale but it has the wrong front qr plate which makes me nervous, even if the rest of the vice looks like new (but rusty).

I want your swivel jaw Parkinson!
Again though, not really viable as a 112 replacement. Club hammering ball joints out in that would be criminal!

Painted the first bits of fortis today. Main parts are still de rusting though. My old worn out citric still seems to be doing the job bit might switch to electrolysis if it doesn't get a move on.
Bought some O1 to make the jaws too but stockholders had labelled it wrong and it's not the right size. I'll have to go back on Monday!

I've always liked vices but was content with one bench vice, a little one I rarely used, and a drill vice.
