The thing which intrigues me is the green paint. That appears to be the only paint on there. It's not covering over a previous colour.

What is the jaw width ?

The Model 403 1/2 Columbian I have has 3 1/2 inch wide jaws.

Noticed that too, but appreciate the posting for what it is. I remember buying a cheap camo shirt in a package years ago that had a picture of a Bowhunter intensely concentrating on some target. The funny thing was that the recurve bow was strung backwards. I framed the picture and hung it in the garage for a laugh. Not sure, but I might still have it somewhere.

Found one of the before photo's of that vice. Electrolysis was used to derust it & clean it up. Same process with its stand, which you can see part of in the background.
