Yes..one of many cars I have waiting for me to get with it and sort it....New disks and pads all round for someone's lucky motor?
Are they as useful or practical as they look?
That vice grip holder is a useful item, never saw one before - are they rare?

£0.99 eBay gamble.
A bit seized but it's all come apart OK and will clean up fine.

Don't think I'll bother painting, never lasts with weld spatter and misdirected oxy-propane action anyway.
An original vice grip holder by Mole, purchased around 1975. Very useful on odd occasions. As shown most makes of vice grip other than Mole fit perfectly.View attachment 68122Laurie
It's a shame to subject that to welding abuse. Better off getting a Record for that task. They're ten-a-penny. If you do use that for welding, I'd get some pieces of thin copper sheet, attach them on either jaw by hooking them in either behind or underneath the jaw inserts, and then have them running down the front and back jaws. That way you'll have easily replaceable sacrificial pieces covering the jaws.
I wasn't sure if there would be serious interest - thought I might get laughed off the bench!
So here's another one you probably haven't seen before - a Multi-Mini vice by Canley Engineering purchased by my stepfather in the early 1980s. The jaws are 1.1/2in wide with 11/16in max opening. The arms are splined at both ends so the jaws can be twisted in any required orientation.
No, they aren't terrible, I'll be able to use them again if off the shelf replacements aren't an option. The bolts sheared off but I'll get them out.
Huge thing for only 4,1/4" jaws. Recon it'd weigh almost as much as my main 6" cheapo vice;
