Vices I have pulled out of the scrap this year, there’s a few others not pictured
I’m really not into vices and I find vice perverts weird but chucking good usable things away that aren’t being made properly anymore is wrong

Just let some of the 'perverts' on this thread know which scrap heap and you'll have less to deal with.

And is it wise to call your customers by this name? - were they all happy with your giant Lambco vises??

Yes it’s ok to call them vice perverts as dealing them really did make me realise it’s a perversion

I'm in the process of giving this one a new life, I don't usually paint vices however this one will need it, any suggestions on colour

Just given this pair a new lease of life, full degrease, de rust in electrolysis bath, paint, replace a few bolts and got the knackered quick release working smoothly on the Samsonia, ready to put to work in my workshop

4hr round trip to collect 2 seized vices!

But, they were cheap, and I've been after a 6" fortis in this later style for years!
Under the rust, it's in really good condition. And the record unseized when I picked it up so just needs a clean.

The record will be for sale once I've made it a little more presentable, and now I have a fortis, my record 112 will no doubt end up for sale too.

Closer inspection shows the record may be missing some parts.
Not that it matters really, I was only interested in the fortis.

Maybe, but right now it is a rust and red oxide paint.

Workshop vice upgrade - Record 21 to a bigger 23.

23 was 53 quid off ebay - just painted first coat after session on grinder with a rotary wire brush.
