No, but a quick Google search brings up a lot of stuff including woodworking tools, knives, drills etc.i found this recently looked very interesting and well made

gave it a clean and it is stamped FR. Eduard Engels & Co, it seems they were a tool company in Remscheid Germany, references to eduard engels from 1888 and Fr eduard engels in early 1900s

An apprentice piece or test job possibly; given the identification marks on the moving jaw. Pity, as they had access to a lathe that they didn't cut a square thread.. Interesting piece..
Rust bath, then turps and brass brush, I’ve since bees waxed ithow /what method did you use to clean it ?
