This needed lifting up a couple of inches to stop it hitting the gearbox, car was originally column change.

18SWG alloy sheet, was originally a Petters parts Service sign.

Part way through welding and development. Sanded all the welds back like a muppet!

Modify, weld, modify, weld.

Where it sits and what sits in it part finished.

Rear cross-member needed an extra bit of prop-shaft clearance and a rot repair, before photo.

During mods.

After but I sanded most of the welds back!

Some half tidy Mig weld I didn't completely fettle back.

Tigged mild steel after shot blasting.

And where it lives on the car.

OK, I sanded this side back but no undercuts I can see!

Spot welds!

Double thickness 304 stainless tapped M6 hence spotwelds.

PAS pump bracket lowered and modified. Relatively tidy Tig.

100 amps. (2mm plus very roughly).

Will have practice later in week had a quick go with your settings but a little lower current 80A had to move much faster weld drooping at end of run.
Never been a neat welder but never had a weld let go on mig or stick, never used TIG though, hope you don,t mind me asking questions.

Top run on that cylinder looks incredibly neat glen.
Did you do that on a rotator.
