what output is the genny Om? and what does the welder go up to? when do you get to start sorting the workshop out properly?

Oh i see it!

Geny will output up to 7kW on demand, it likes the oxford on single phase but can't quite manage much over 90A without a bit of effort, got an electric starter kit lined up and increasing the weight on the additional flywheel from 6kgs to 10kgs...
On the otherhand though should manage almost 150A on 3 phase

Might be next year before the workshop gets done now , will be 3 or 4 times the size of the current garage as pictured

Edit: Have to clean the geny and put it through its paces in warm weather

Have you had a play then Om? Its only 1 wire to change it over to single phase. I did give you the leads didn`t I, no sign of them in the pics.

Leads are just at the bottom of the pic

Tried it out after lugging it down to the house , worked a treat Cheers!!

Anyway, work to do making a few benches to get all the rubbish off the floor

Here's my workshop/garage that I've just moved into. Just painting the floor at the moment. No tools or anyting in there apart from an old car lift that's getting replaced any day now.

Thanks! The landlord is moving it to the arch next door. Still waiting on the new lift so I can paint the rest of the floor.
