It's a nice job Adrian but I can just see that top unit getting knocked off. As a minimum I'd weld a couple of tabs on it either side and put a strap over the Tig if you didn't want to cage it in.Something perhaps I should have done some time ago. Anyone who visits my garage/workshop will know how little space I have and the MIG welder was left on the floor with me stepping over it, bottle not secure etc.
So I got around to my car, I am sure it will evelove over time when I discover how I want to hold the cables, places for rods, wire etc.
But a bit more floor and bench space recovered and the unit now sits where the old SIP unit was.

I welded a couple of bands to the rear base of the cart to keep the two bottles in place, Argon and Argoshield 5, then a chain around the top of the bottles and locked in place.
It's a start.

How do you access the reel & wire feed with the mig on the middle shelf? Not that I suppose you need to much, once it's all set up....
I'm planning the layout of mine and will have it up top, as long as it's not too unstable.

For the moment I will use it as is, need to ad some draws/trays etc.
yepDoes it count as a 'welding trolley' if I put different wheels on my welder and a hookamajig or two?
