This is the data sheet of machinewhat is the input amps of the machine
Will have a look..that's a 3phase one what's the biggest single phase they do and its input current draw
That's a 185 machinethat's a 3phase one what's the biggest single phase they do and its input current draw
It's mainly because the stuff I make and have jobs to do will require more bigger machine. I have a lot of lorry stuff to make including tow bars ect. Some materials are 12 and 15 mm thick. What are you welding in your shed that you need something that big ? Unless you have a lot of spare cash you want to burn I would stick with something you can run from your standard supply.
I was looking at a ewm phoenix 355 mig welder.View attachment 100326 View attachment 100327
you CAN get it--- but you won't run it !!
not off 13A anyway you might get the ON light to work ----maybe.
A lot of mine are lost on you lot, also
Yer I hear you Richard....thanks for the help and information everyone it's very appreciated.Spencer your never gonna be able to get 350 amps out of that welder unless you fit a 3ph 32 amp supply as a minimum.
The 185 won't weld 10-15mm plate either.
I'd get a multiprocess machine 230v use the mig for the 1-6mm and MMA for the thick stuff. Sorted
that runs on a 32amp supply so would do fineFew options
