yep ,,, I didnt go overboard [ no pun intended] but even a once over with a da and 80 , then a pad sander with 120 to knock the worst marks off , and leave it looking ok took a full day , then a scuff sanding with 400 to knock the nibs off before recoating took a couple of hours ,,, To do it really nicely would have taken a week at least I think ,,,, but its freshened things up and that was all I was after ,,, still took 60 quids worth of varnish and 40 quid in sanding discs and paper ,,, if I had counted man hours there would have been a carpet put down instead ,,,Will be interesting to find out, its a lot of work preparing floors
for it not to last a reasonable time.
use spray starch ,,, works a treatAs I seem to be attacked by house flies in the kitchen and office I've noticed RAID fly killer seems to do very little even though it still has a list of nasty sounding ingredients.
I looked at alternatives and most seem to suggest throwing the can at the flies!
I remember when one skirt in the room and flies would drop to the floor in a few minutes.
Anyone found anything that works?
Even thinking of fly papers!

OrFly papers are the dogs danglers, once a few land they call their mates. when they are full spray them with gold paint and you can use them as Christmas decorations.

That's greed and negligence.Worse.
Today, I found 56 E bay extinguishers that could not work.
In a care home.
First visit for me, on a national contract. That's greed and negligence.
We would have picked that up years ago as we visited Care homes every 3 months.
I just removed the cat from my chainsaw
I had a girfriend with Dysons Disease
whined a lot and wouldnt suck ... does that count
Chineseium carpbideCheap drills that don't drill should be advertised as manufactured from "case hardened" plasticine, or to save time just label it as":landfill"
Never hard of that before, that's insaneimagine, a cat in
a chainsaw,
But its safe ,,,,yes this is all a big bug bear of mine,...all this watered down rubbish in the name of being green but it isnt
you need twice as much stuff to do half the job that lasts half as long , so more tins of paint /weedkiller /whatever in the landfill rather than buying something that works and lasts as advertised , all the money and pollution making then transporting around weed killer /flyspray /paintstripper and it doesnt even work ? world gone mad !

I use neat or 50/50 Traffic Film Remover and a brush, works a treat but don't let it dry before rinsing off.I just used a tin of environmental friendly engine degreaser that does not degrease anything.
