I'm just confused now (which isn't unusual).
So, I'm not allowed to buy my Mrs an ironing board, hoover, or washing machine for Christmas, but it's fine for them to buy me (or in this case you) a vacuum cleaner?
It's not surprising I don't understand women, there appears to be no logic to them.

No wanted it easy to dismantle. Welded small plates over the bottom of the legs to thread the castors on.

Just a cheapy amazon jobbie, only want one to play with, if I can see more/better uses for it I might invest in a better unit. Just thought it would be a useful addition beside my 3 3d printers.

18v 1st fixd nailer 2nd hand not new but a want ive wanted for quite a while but never seen at a fair price bought it and otherhalf give me the money as she knows i hate carp i dont use just junk lying around yes i buy stuff i think i want never use it and then sell it on but when its given to you i feel i have to keep it

I have a "cheapish" spray gun in the shed that it is likely I will never use again, but for personal reasons which I will not share there is no way I will get rid of it, it is very precious to me and I wouldn't even let someone use it if I was stood next to them. I am sure there are plenty of people on here would understand.
