It's not yet ready to sell everything above the black rubbing strip needs sorting StillA credit to you, now get it sold before you become attatched!
Good luck for tomorrow! In was worried that the electric bilge pumps are in a place that if the stern of the boat was leaking they would do nothing until it's too late.
I've ordered a manual pump and will connect this to some pipes I will feed down into the keels so at least I could keep them dry if needed.
Relaunch day is now set for the 17th.
Nothing moves water faster than a scared man with a bucket ...Boats are selling very well at the minute, there simply is not enough for sale, brokers cant find them to sell, yours looking as good as that will sell fast.
The bubble has got to burst sooner or later, or maybe it wont as there are no longer cheaper 2nd hand EU boats coming in, so the total number of boats is pretty static, it is very much a sellers market, summer hols coming up, and you almost have a captive market.
Ps 3rd elec bilge pump waste of time, 2 is more than enough, its also worth having a manual diaphragm pump piped to the bilge, so in the event if total elec failure you can still remove the water
She looks great. A credit to you, and your mum and dad would be very proudHere you go, it was squeaky bum time with the wind but all went well.
Burped the deep sea seals, and no leaks. Engines started and ran sweet as a nut and she cruised lovely for the short trip to a mooring.View attachment 333330View attachment 333331
I don't know, I was meant to stay on her last night but discovered a sticking caliper on my landcruiser so had to come into work to sort it. Hopefully I'll make it back today.Hope she’s still afloat. The first night is always the worst for worrying.
is your marina well protected from the storm ?
superb job you have done, just the finishing touches to the uppers now.
congratulations.
Bet you have a lot of other boaters sniffing around that, many will be interested in buying it.Here you go, it was squeaky bum time with the wind but all went well.
