Recently replaced a pump on the Kenwood washer. Looked at the old one and realised that the central worn out part is a clip in unit.Got the timer/programmer working again on my 38-year old Hotpoint washing machine. Decided it would be to hard to dismantle, so played it safe with some contact cleaner and some lube (in very limited quantities and places and it's working again. Roll on the big 40

It could be sold as a separate item...it could. Instead the whole pump is scrapped. Landfill bound.
Again it isn't about saving cash......such a damn crime......throwaway culture.
