Shallow dome-headed coach bolts.I am not really happy with it too
But I didn't really find a good alternative.
I have no tooling for Countersunk screws in Wood. And they need to be done far more precisely then my Woodworking skills allow
Screws with ultra thin Heads like BN9524 are not available in the moment or at all in dimensions like M8x25.
Maybe I will give threaded Inserts (DIN 7965) a try but I do not have confidence that the wood will not crack.
Lens flange screw ( I am not shure if thats the correct english Term) DIN EN ISO 7380-2 would have a Headsize similar to
but are less annoying to use. (If the security aspect isn't necessary).
Anyone with a brilliant Idea?
