Bead blast !
Don't have such a thing but would that not destroy the machining marks and also the engraved name on the side, it is only 0.1mm deep.Bead blast !
Yes it would, more than likely,Don't have such a thing but would that not destroy the machining marks and also the engraved name on the side, it is only 0.1mm deep.
Not good with the finger, ouch,Seeing as I dislocated my finger yesterday I am not able to weld today (can't bend to hold a torch) so I decided to try with a needle file and it is surprisingly quick and easy to break the edges. Takes about 5-10 mins a peg, if it was a production job I would be looking for a better/faster method but for this one off it will be fine.
EDIT
Told a lie, just measured and they are only 2.1mm high
I clicked it back in before it started to hurtI doubt anyone was going to call you out on it
Sorry to read about the digit, what's the prognosis? I'm kinda afraid to ask how you did it...
Amazingly I still have the others left to do that with.It can't be that bad. He can still type away fine...
Other members on here seem to get a hell of a lot done in a day, this simple looking hinge has taken me bloody ages.
If its work, you tend to have the right tools, with industrial size and capacity, yo can get stuff done quicker - and if its earning you money, or costing you money to keep it in the workshop as its keeping other work out, there's a really good incentive to crack on.You're not the only one who thinks some must have a permanent rocket up their jacksy. How they manage so much is beyond me too.
