I am sure it is 10 TPIChester 626 riser block complete.
Two coats of primer and two top coat.
Brought into the house to harden off for a couple of days.
I am going to try and make a longer leadscrew for the knee riser to compensate for the extra height. Does anyone know what acme thread it is? @doubleboost ?

I used to really enjoy welding those hooks on, I made a lovely bending jig for them but it's gone missing.View attachment 337171View attachment 337172 View attachment 337173first job this morning I reckon I could make one of them retaining hooks dissappear sharpish with a little too many amps
It was yesterday evening but I made another brake pedal. A guy on the Africa Twin forum said he thought a longer pedal would be good so I decided to make one and see what I thought. If I don't like it I will go back to the previous one I made and he will get this one, if I do like then I will be making one for him.
Anyway a couple of comparison pics, first pic shows the colour to be very different, not sure why but they are a fairly close match.
I need to do more stainless to understand how it flows better, hoping to get a little more practice this yearI used to really enjoy welding those hooks on, I made a lovely bending jig for them but it's gone missing.
Aye, occasionally, at the workshop as we speak ( or really type) making the extension pedal for the guy on the AT forum because I am liking it a lot on todays run, proof hereHave you ridden this bike yet?
Having ridden/fettled /built m/c's since 1961 and being in the trade for 25years I find it great to see someone actually " altering " their bike to suit their own requirements . So many of the customers that I had to deal with were either unimaginative or incapable of altering the standard machine or even adjust it to suit their riding. They seem to think that the motorcycling experience begins and ends with the purchase.Aye, occasionally, at the workshop as we speak ( or really type) making the extension pedal for the guy on the AT forum because I am liking it a lot on todays run, proof here
