Exactly this. And,when it’s worn out from company use, it’s unlikely your boss will be replacing yours, he will go and buy one for his company…." Be careful about doing this. Will have a look later this morning3/8"-16 and 5/16"-18 if you're got them?

Sadly it's not anymore.Now that's a cool looking plane

Damn dual gas turbines powering the props with just shy of 3000hp...would be fun to put in a car
Later yesterday evening I've woken up my engine driven for a job.
Check levels , little clean up , started on the second pull (as normally)
Boss asked me to lend it for little use as power generator for small tools like a grinder and a drill
I've warned him about this before. I reckon these young lads have to learn things the hard way....

I take it that it was considerably quieter than a Thunderscreech ?Sadly it's not anymore.
We rebuilt that one from wrecks that were being used for Fire and Rescue training. It sat as a Gate Guardian at Lossiemouth for a while but it's now in Errol, Perthshire looking a little the worse for wear.

I just had to Google that, and yes, it was!I take it that it was considerably quieter than a Thunderscreech ?
Use a cheap Aldi or Lidl stepped cone cutter , do a test on some predrilled scrap wood then use a black marker pen to make a ring on the step above to get a consistent depth .................. like this eBay item 353201569116I am not really happy with it too
But I didn't really find a good alternative.
I have no tooling for Countersunk screws in Wood. And they need to be done far more precisely then my Woodworking skills allow
Screws with ultra thin Heads like BN9524 are not available in the moment or at all in dimensions like M8x25.
Maybe I will give threaded Inserts (DIN 7965) a try but I do not have confidence that the wood will not crack.
Lens flange screw ( I am not shure if thats the correct english Term) DIN EN ISO 7380-2 would have a Headsize similar to
but are less annoying to use. (If the security aspect isn't necessary).
Anyone with a brilliant Idea?
or a wet cloth and a big hot unplugged soldering iron on the top for the odd scraped groove. To erase the washer marks, trying ironing a damp cloth over the area. It should swell the wood and raise it.
Handle .... ? A single cranked tube at back above hinge that is almost vertical when closed or from the front or side , will it open without danger off causing the melter to tip back towards the hinge . It's some thing I'm pondering on for my gas fired melter .Other members on here seem to get a hell of a lot done in a day, this simple looking hinge has taken me bloody ages.

Next to fill the lid insulation, turn a pair of spacers, and chop down the excess plate.
The lid is slightly smaller dia than the bottom half, giving an annoying step.
I like the to be hidden light switch ..that will confuse the burglars . Lucky you didn't drill the switch cable it looks a pretty close thing even if you did use a cable locator. Are s the bottom two rails for hiding hatsCoat rack finished, apart from making 20 odd hooks, that’s the last time I’ll see it now.
