Mini Me has reminded me of something from nearly 2 decades ago.
We was adopted by a wild cat, blessed with off spring.

She was so wild I have scares from her love.

She set up home in the workshop, on a shelf, on my work clothes.

She gave birth to 4 mini cats, 3 are still here.

Soon she trusted us.

We called "Garage"

She is now in her own house, still semi wild.
But safe.

Her babies?

All in good homes. She was the reason I animal sit.

this front has now been riped out and replaced with a matching front for the era of the building its also on a publc highway and busy public footpath had to be done in early hrs in the morning

that's what you need for your gate hinges on the drive, one on each of the existing hinge pins to raise up the gate for clearance, no change to the blockwork nor the gate, just lift them up to suit. Seem to remember you have a lathe...
