Not today but over the last 2 weeks managed to make some more progress on the lifting frame

Acquired some wheels off an old Dell Server cabinet, needed to slim them down to fit and open up the centre hole

Turned down some tubing from the scrap bin to make spacer tubes, think it was an old bottle jack handle off a Range Rover P38

The toothed wheels are part of a roundtoit plan to have some drive mechanism to traverse the girder but for now its useable

while tiding up my garage i found something similar, one of those bags for holding leaves and garden rubbish, you would think it was made for the job fits my welder perfectly and is waterproof bonus .Which is a dust cover for my new welder, a little big but will keep the dust off
