Now wishing I had bought more of the F Clamps when they were on sale at Rutlands.
Patience, Grasshopper. They usually come round again

Used them for making up a shooting table for a boat.

Started chopping up the sheets of 5mm, will get the rest done Monday but I will not be welding them on until the frame is on the boat and the legs all fixed in place.

Something to do with sharks I believeWhat did you do that with? What size and shape tungsten? How many amps?
I've tried welding the stainless coffee cup I had - made some holes, welded some of it. Used pulsed for the first time, but it wasn't what I'd call a success. I felt it needed a copper heatsink.
Having fallen out big time with my selection of cable ties [OK, I lost the rag ] all getting intertwined when I just wanted one of a size for a job, I knocked this together from scrap pvc pipe + an off-cut of plastic - makes selecting the right one(s) much easier. Plus, room for expansion.
Sad, I know, but what's a fellow to do....?

What have you stuck them down with / to please John?
You’ve got tons of talent there.Mentioned I was working on this on a thread a few weeks ago. Finally got around to installing it and using it. My niece and nephew, whom it’s for, live on the periphery if the Cairngorms so it will hopefully get plenty use.
The plow lifts via linear actuator operated from a switch on the dash. The angle of the blade can be tilted side to side manually. The tilt mechanism was repurposed from a locking swivel seat - it does make the plow bulkier than If I had simply mounted a fixed, straight one. The blade itself is hinged and sprung to absorb any knocks.
It scrapes the snow well enough, and atleast allows the kids to broaden thier imaginations. The (lifting) cradle it mounts to has been made pretty universal so I can make further attachments for it in future.
I’ve got a video of me scraping the above area that I may post if I can work out how. Perhaps a toy for a biggger kid!

Also finished up a trailer for it. I had made a simple flat bed but it looked a bit naff so decided to make a scale ‘proper’ trailer. The sides/headboard/corner staunchens can all be removed readily. The bed tilts and is lifted by a pair of gas struts. It lacks ramps, as I’m sure the kids won’t be needing them. Will need black tyre for the spare wheel, too.
Clearly, as commented by a couple of friends, I’ve got too much time on my hands! That said, it bits and pieces do make it.

And a LOT of time on your hands!
The most important thing is, do you enjoy it? If the answer is yes. Then that's all that matters. The build look greatI get that a lot... I’m a wee bit obsessive with what I get involved in and charge through it. Probably to my detriment but I don’t think I could have it any other way.
Ah, sorry I worded that a bit badly. Thanks for your compliments. The most important thing is, do you enjoy it? If the answer is yes. Then that's all that matters. The build look great
