Not today but over the weekend, reworked and rewired a battery bank charging set up. This is 2 x solar 1 x wind with mains charger backup (240v provided by generator on site) and invertor to powered a cctv set. All this lot will be connected to a bank of 8 x 12v 100ah batteries which should provide power for about 130 hrs without recharge. Hopefully with some wind and solar input it shouldn't need to be charged with the mains backup. Area this is going is only really used on a Sunday so ideally it needs to power the cctv the rest if the week without running out of juice.

Plastic chopping board . Most of this was mad maxed into a metal box when I got involved. The fuses and a couple of terminal posts were already mounted on the chopping boards so to save myself a little work I just mounted the whole board. What is the white backing board in the bottom left, please?

Should be fine, it is mounted inside a metal box that is going to be bolted to the side of a shipping container that does not store anything flammable. If it was to catch fire it should stay contained in the boxLooks a nice job my only concern would be the fire risk of mounting it on wood.
