Surely building a bomb shelter in your back garden is pretty normal behaviour here.
Nice Anderson shelter by the way, @Martin Hocking It'll look great with a few vegetables growing on the sides. I might even build myself one, seems like the ideal place to hide from the Mrs next time she's on the warpath because I've trodden swarf into the carpet or sat on the sofa in dirty overalls.
Seriously?!? Go on where’s that then? I told my boss and he got a proper froth on at the prospect of a new one! If there are still unused ones the ww2 ‘fans’ and corrugated tin aficionados (yes really)will go mad!The MOD sales site near me still has them in stock.
Or you could nip to one of our local allotments and have one away over night.
