Made a teardrop for the rear master cylinder as I want to fit a left handlebar rear brake on my bike. The ones you can buy basically mimic the oem teardrop with one fixing screw which is really just meant to feed oil under gravity so no pressure but as I will be putting pressure to it I would not be happy. Here is a vid of one that someone posted on the Africa Twin forum, as you can see it is not the best, it flexes every time the handlebar lever is pulled and I think will eventually shear the screw that holds it on.
So did some measuring up and came up with a design, it will use the oem screw but also clamp around the master cylinder body holding everything secure. Space is tight but hopefully my measurements are correct.

I popped down to the workshop this evening and machined and anodised ready for a trial tomorrow.
I have all the rest of the parts required except the handlebar lever for the brake as it is on back order from Puig, hopefully it will be here soon.
