That has lots of possibilities. It would be interesting to try it on different types of stones and surfaces. Are those etchings all single-pass, or did you do multiple passes?Did some messing about with different settings on the laser on a flagstone.
All single, just varied feed and power and fill or line. That has lots of possibilities. It would be interesting to try it on different types of stones and surfaces. Are those etchings all single-pass, or did you do multiple passes?
If you were closer, or if you're passing Camberley / can organise Underground Railway delivery, I have a hatful of computer server rack sliders (heavy-duty ball bearing slides), could be Just Right for your sliding drawer / table - welcome to a couple, if so? I used a pair each for big drawers (full of Metrology) under one of my workbenches so they're up to the job, not THAT difficult to cut down and reassemble if you need to shorten them.Had some left over parts after i repaired the door on the teardrop. I have storage under the bed and find the rear compartment a pain to get too. So a hatch would be ideal and hopefully a slide out 'drawer' that can be used as a table can be added. Progress so far, basic hand tolls and bought nothing for it yet

I've rotated one of my 7" grinders 90 degrees but the other way, its so much nicer to use for a cutting disc.
Think it was Metabo that did them with rotaing handles years ago.I've rotated one of my 7" grinders 90 degrees but the other way, its so much nicer to use for a cutting disc.View attachment 411510
