Thanks. You should have seen the other parts of the house before we got started. It was really a horror scene, and some parts of the house are still a bit scary. The upstairs was actually the best part.

@MattF, do you have a latent ghoulish streak? If that's the case, if you ever come to visit, you can stay in what we call the 'laying out' room. The house was originally built as the parsonage for the local Puritan/Congregationalist meetinghouse, and we think that one of the rooms may have been used for laying out bodies to prepare them for funerals, which would have often been held at the parsonage. We are also directly across the road from the town cemetery, if that adds to the experience.

Started working on the 126p
Put a battery
Check the oil , right in the middle fresh and clean
Disconnected the fuel tank lines
Discovered an oil leak on the transmission.
Throttle leverage is bent.
Turned the key attempted to start the engine and it's seized.
Turn indicators work
Headlights not .
Found out that it has electronic ignition set up .
Attempted to crank it believing that it was in gear so I pressed the clutch pedal ...
Nothing to do.
So I've proceeded to remove the spark plugs .
The engine is at BDC .
Filled the cylinders with WD40 hopping to free the stucked rings (it worked once on an outboard I've had a while ago)

But to be honest I feel like it has a broken piston
Ahh didn't mention about the shift mechanism on the gearbox.
It has a component like a silent block which connects the selectors to the lever ,well it's completely f@#* .
So the plan is try again to crank the engine , and whatever it goes remove the engine and transmission.
To completely rebuild them .
It's not a planned job since them both should have been in working conditions .

It's more likely that this car would be back on the streets , rather than on the track .
It will receive anyway some modifications ,first of all sequential shifter mechanism in replacement of the broken original set up.
And a limited slip differential , nothing too crazy.
And that's the occasion to do that

Alvãro wanted a gate for his chicken pen. He was imagining a wooden frame with a bit of chicken wire but I spotted a roll of galv weldmesh lying in the grass, so purloined that and then went for a rummage through a pile of scrap I'd scored off James (who said I was welcome to it so long as I took ALL of it!). I found four lengths of SHS of about the right size and length, already beveled at the ends and powder coated. Was a bit trickey welding the mesh on because it was very thin wire and the box section was quite thin walled too but I came up with a ruse of laying a bit of ali plate over the mesh next to where I wanted to weld and that worked a treat; didn't blow through anywhere. I fabbed all the hardware too. Ran out of paint. Alvãro is very pleased with the result.

Basically the bend, and the fitting (tri ferrule) welded together...
Inside purged with argon to allow the weld to go right through and be clean and smooth inside.

Liftet the 126p and almost removed the engine.
2 bolts left
I'll have to replace the entire engine...
The previous owner missed to tell me it had a flying piston the engine block has been destroyed
It's not seized probably I can not save even the crankshaft
