I know this is for me, (that's Jake's print isn't it?) but I'm still not sure / forgotten what you're doing with this!
It is almost ready to use, just need to make up the handle. I thought a keyway would be better than using a hex socket to turn the shaft. I am thinking that by applying the torque from both ends, the force on the print will be lower and therefore smoother and better finish.I know this is for me, (that's Jake's print isn't it?) but I'm still not sure / forgotten what you're doing with this!
I've gone right off the idea of getting one of those - I had the notion they didn't rot much.Another day another Volvo floor repair!

To be fair this one has live on the coast for most of its life.I've gone right off the idea of getting one of those - I had the notion they didn't rot much.
Slight variation on my usual handrails,I’ll go back to scrub the cement patches next week.View attachment 436354View attachment 436355 View attachment 436356
@Mick Annick ,was it a known tube you’d used before, has it expired, did the temperature drop during the curing period?
Unlucky there.
Give a squeeze or two onto a bit of card/rubbish bag to make sure it's mixing properly through the nozzle before putting it In the holes. It’s in date, the other two holes I used it in cured OK, though this one is in a cold, shaded spot though it’s not been that cold here since I did it. I’m back next week so will see if it’s OK or if I have to rip it out and do it again.

I can’t remember, I ran a fair bit through the nozzle before using to make sure it was well mixed. Can you remember if the hole that won't set, is the first one you did?
