I have been designing and making some display stands for our craft stall.
Is there an OCD thread?Today I made a big stack of fatmax organisers very heavy, had a major tip out of all my building maintenance/ bodging clobber and organised the whole lot into these. Got a lot to do in the next few months so this should help.

This one has a freshly de rusted tank, ultrasounded carbs and now a splash of new posh petrol so the smell is probably off one of the other relics...I can smell the stale petrol from here
Serious Top Gun ( 1 and 2 ) cred.Ive made a long dead motorbike run. Not sure if this is wise or not.

I’ve admired those cars since childhood, never realised they had separate handbrake callipers, are they effective?Fitted new discs to the Citroen DS Safari. The engine and gearbox are yet to be fitted so not as bad as doing it in situ.
Typically Citroen, the inboard discs have to be measured for run out. Bolt on the discs, set up a DTI, check the run out. Then unbolt, turn through 120 degrees, try again. Do that a third time and finally position the disc with the least run out. Then do the other side.
The calipers can't be fully tightened until in the car with hydraulics pressurised. Then with an assistant hard on the brake pedal, the caliper bolts can be tightened.
The inboard discs are one of the reasons you rarely see poncy alloy wheels, there is nothing to see.
New handbrake pads as well as these can't be changed without removing the handbrake calipers.

Hello, the 'handbrake' on mine is foot operated with a separate lever to release. If you really stamp on the pedal the parking brake is OK but nothing special. On this one I've incorporated a switch and warning light to indicate the brake is on.separate handbrake callipers, are they effective?
No, it will pop of at 57mph, first drive. The guts will seize up tomorrow now
