Simple labyrinth air vent to sit on top of some 10k litre tanks I'm working on. Nice little bench job.

Remade the motor mount for my toylander (i see they’ve copied me and offer a defender now too)

10mm aluminium - 45 minutes to cut using a torodial tool path. Pretty pleased for only my second attempt trying to CNC mill metal.

Scratchy stick for slape coated dogs. Our little terrier goes into a trance when its applied to all the places she cant reach. Well worth whittling. Great for getting her to do the one legged flea dance. The only dance she knows.

Mostly rammed up a brick - hard mould in Petrobond for the Norvin alternator cover plate.
A fine bit of Mesolithic artwork if ever there was.....

I saw an unused pair yesterday and thought someone might be able to make a decent kiddies truck out of them .?

Knocked up these death trap axe stands aswell yesterday.

They done me proud todays well

Again using off cuts and bits i have lying around.

Started my new reloading press system today, made from what is essentially scrap. We had made, folded some channels up in 3mm mild and got carried away with the job and made a couple too many, as you will be aware once you have folded a job up you can't unfold it so the extra was going in the scrap. I decided to try to use some bits by cutting it up the hard way, on the bandsaw:



I cut the trough up into 10" lengths and then cut the bigger bend off, it would then fit onto the guillotine:



gathered up enough bits to make four extra bases, plus the master base:



Then the angle grinder:



and the cold saw on a couple 16mm square offcuts:



Bit of welding to stick to the theme:



Further updates tomorrow when I have developed it a bit further but this is what I am trying to copy:

Hopefully I will get more done tomorrow and start the wall brackets.

Watched the video, Can't get my head around needing all the extra attachments which adds bulk to the presses for storing, when a simple square plate of steel, drilled & taped with holes for various presses would suffice. Using a couple of large butterfly bolts would still be needed to screw a press down, as in the video. To me the video is way overkill, but then its pushing a product.

The whole idea is to eliminate multiple screws and holes and just pick the press up, drop it in place and crack on. If you didn't have the plates and replied on just one plate you are back to mounting presses on and off every time you change presses, totally negating the time saved using multiple plates. One other advantage is being able to use the wall mount brackets because there is no way you can store a press other than laying it down, taking up all sorts of room.
