Failed completely
Perfectly polished the handle of the stayer Len 200 no sanding needed.
The main plastic body/motor housing got a ton of varnish, spray glue and epoxy clear coat that even using a rotary orbital sander 80grit came off.
Ended up painting it.
I hate paint on plastics because it a shortcut into the restoration project and it's not genuine because it doesn't birth like that.
Anyways in this case I've had no choice because of the conditions and the plastic composition and damage.
Fortunately at least it's not a part you actually touch and mess up easily with your hands.
I'll apply PVC clear coat on tomorrow for extra protection, it's already dry but I want it to cure overnight
