Yes that would be interesting, mounted off centre on a rotary table and cut with slitting saw perhaps?First class job.

View attachment 181258 Aluminium pulley for ground investigation rig. London Underground said original steel one was too heavy for manual handling. Ally will probably suffer erosion from the steel rope but its not long term
