A fire... took abit of work. We’d burnt the roof of the fire out.

So I had to cut it out and weld in a thicker sheet (6mm)
Replaced some of the fire bricks and gave it a lick of paint.
Dog’s happy

@Shox Dr is that a Stovax?
I have a Stovax cassette that needs the same treatment, your post (and the Jabberwocky weather) gave me the push i needed to make a start on mine.
Thanks @Shox Dr same as mine then.
I've already changed the baffles a couple of times.
The mild steel one only seem to last a couple of years so this time I'm going to make them out of stainless.
I also need to fix the top plate where the flue exits so that should be fun.
Did you replace the baffles? and if so did you make or buy them?

First attempt with lots of room for improvement; more oil on top, fresh rosemary and more water in the dough, I want big air bubbles like a ciabatta. It tastes alright though.
It was the BBC goodfood recipe but I'll try to find a better one/improve upon it this week, this is really just odd shaped bread with a bit of rosemary. I'm having it with lasanga tonight though, should be good.Recipe would be appreciated, love focaccia .
And with the house to myself this week I’ll be having a play with my new pasta machine, and I’m hoping my big sis and BIL call in so I can make them a lasagna with home grown toms, and home-made focaccia would work nicely.

What I've made today, after a tyre-fitting session.
Found some fresh-caught mackerel in the bottom of the freezer. It had only been there since 2012, so it was fine.
Fried up two of them lovely, with some Oriental stir-fry mix.
I haven't doubled over with some horrible gutache yet, so I think I'll be safe to eat the second pair of fish tomorrow.
Veiled?welded a frame the other week for another vivarium for my daughter (the third one!), made the cabinet this week whist she and mrs RDR made the background from polystyrene and "stuff". All came together friday as we had a chameleon on its way.
frame welded up, this allows it to have a floating top and the front and side mesh to clip off for an open environment.
