but run out of stuff to make legs and a handle
Everywhere? that would take ages...Hmmmm.
Have you looked everywhere?
I am sure some where there is what you need.
Suddenly decided I needed a folder

I would like to build something like that but I have not the space so I have to make something more usefulSuddenly decided I needed a folder. Got this far out of the scrap pile, but run out of stuff to make legs and a handle
I have made it quite big... For box folding I may make a different top section with a shorter top plate, once I have made some more off cuts.I would like to build something like that but I have not the space so I have to make something more useful
So I thought that I should make a folder that has various removable teeth so I can use it in various directions and make various shapes
Not something I will use every day but surely something that is handy to have in the right occasions
Edit maybe something hydraulic operated
Just a car jack
Hope I gave you an idea
if you get chance .... no rush its only been waiting at least 4 years to get fixed....... there is always something else that needs doing

Have a look at switch item # 174089913995 eBay ~ , when you put that number in you may or may not get the right switch but at the bottom is a slide show of similar switches . They work out around £8 machine mart wanted £ 24
Thanks, but Clarke spares prices don't seem too bad: they're quoting £11.46 including VAT for what seems to be the switch and the housing (item 23 on page 26 in the manual on their website). The housing on mine was held together with electrical tape when I bought the saw 8 years ago; you can imagine what state it's in now! I also need some other bits: a gasket for the gear cover (although that's apparently not available any more, so I'll have to make something) and the blade guard (which I guess I could make if I was feeling keen). Given I need those as well, I might as well get them all from Clarke spares.
Al for some reason I got a feeling I have that switch sat on a shelf in the workshop if your not in a hurry I will check it out in the morning
We have the same vise ,mine isn't mounted onto a swivel baseBeen welding at work, doesn't happen often.
Making a push trailor split pin assembly thing to go on the front of a tractor, for pushing boats on trailers into a workshop. It will all become clear.

Couldn't easily get 25mm steel, couldn't cut it, so got a length of 200mm x 12mm and cranked up the little inverter welder to full, with some 4mm rods.
Veed out the plate, and had warping fun!
Hi AL sorry hunted everywhere today then father popped in later and informed me he had fitted it to the wood bandsaw, I new we had had one whilst looking I also noticed we have 2 fitted to the metal cutting bandsaw one for the pump one for the motor and another one our table saw so quite common switch. Had to fly 2 meters down a ladder to save my life

The roof fell onto the ladder
