Finally got around to fitting a UHF / FM / DAB distribution amp that I've had kicking around for a couple of years. I was forced into doing it because the FM reception in the living space is quite crap, so this takes a feed from the indoor antenna that's pretty good and routes it around a bit. I'll press the old VHF Band II aerial into service as a DAB antenna this summer, when I get around to it, and couple that to it also.
The UHF terrestrial signal is cracking, from a mini-dipole sitting at the focal point of a 1m square mesh dish that was originally used around here for the MMDS system, that fell into disuse, leaving lots of high quality dishes lying spare.

Here's something I didn't do today!
The missus asked me if we could put an IBC behind the greenhouse as the two water butts in front of it are not in the ideal place. No problem I said, I will get another IBC and prepare a space.
She obviously couldn't wait! I think a four minute verbal guarantee is the only warranty given with this contraption. I may have to fix it before it rains...

Hopefully made a lot of planty things for the greenhouse.
Any surplus will be offered to family first before being presented free of charge at the gate. For the price of seeds I picked up direct from Marshalls/Unwins/Westlands or whatever they care to be known as, I put the whole packet in!

Today I made my pallet truck able to lower without the use of a screwdriver.
The wee chain that operates the lowering lever was rusted solid and kept jumping off the operating lever.
I didn't know the chain ran through the pivot pin so I might have stuffed it taking it apart.
I had hoped to free it up and put it back on before I broke it.
Where to get 6mm pitch chain on Easter Saturday during lock down?
From a door closer that's where.
That's the chain and rod as it came out of the closer barrel.
No joking, you would think it was made for it and it worked perfectly after I got it back together again.

get some Creme Eggs, but remember that unlike me, you shouldnt put all your eggs in one basket .
so take them from a box
break into a jug
put start to melt them on a pan of boiling water
"whisk" together
until thoroughly mixed
then put in a frying pan to rest
and fold and serve

haven't figures out how to do those bend lines yet on mine. You you just draw a straight line on the cad program?
