As I said, an unfortunate accident. . Try not to beat yourself up over it, which I appreciate is easy for someone not involved to say. Good luck with the ongoing tuition.
Forget it, the pedestrian should take more care!I was too much on the right side of the road (in Italy we drive the opposite way than England ) because I had to surpass a parked truck .
Pedestrian was on the sidewalk , walking on its edge (I should have asked why) ,the car had 20cm clearance between the wheel and the sidewalk .
Miss step of the pedestrian cause him to fell onto the car bonnet

In most cases I would say that's right .Forget it, the pedestrian should take more care!
I hope I goes well too .Hope it goes well for your friend.
I'm also sad because a friend of mine just communicated to me he has a cancer and he will have surgery tomorrow and medics aren't sure if he will survive the operation
It isn't a great day for me today
My mum's been in for examinations today, they confirmed its just two small tumours and it hasn't spread further, so surgery and chemo. Third time she's had the C. Never smoked or drank alcohol. Well maybe a glass of wine occasionally.I'm also sad because a friend of mine just communicated to me he has a cancer and he will have surgery tomorrow and medics aren't sure if he will survive the operation

Thanks for the hugsHave a few of these, you're having hard times atm.
So is that the exact word ?Incidentally we 'overtake' things in English, we surpass things, but it's generally called overtaking.
Take care mate.
Thanks for the hugs
Today on the afternoon I went to visit my friend for the last time prior the surgery
Went to work crying
Yes infact we passed the afternoon as we always do , without bothering too much about laughing together but once alone I felt very sadI've edited that post.
Bear in mind the worse may happen.
But try to stay positive, it may have a positive outcome his surgical intervention.
Stay positive, it will help him, to a certain degree.
