Brass might be better for high current connectors but the mig ones survived ok. They will solder onto the induction coils after I cross drill.

She has one , but despite he's older than me and I'm 50kg he's not a problem at all .

They are nice people, he will say nothing more than typical things that are said in those situations .

I decided to make some more today out of European Walnut (using a table saw to do the first cut rather than a hand saw). Thicknesser took the material down to 0.8 mm without any tear-out and I figured that would do:

Started my Urchfab dice. Managed to flash myself so packed it in for today

Little thumbscrew thing for one of the nice Moore and Wright protractors.
Mate has the set, its virtually brand new, but never uses the protractor as someone lost the screw not long after he got it.

Not sure why you'd buy a £200 combination set then never use it.

Maybe.... my SIP auto hood has stopped working. I put in new batteries but no good. So, being old school and still having a hand shield, I proceeded. It helps to get the co-ordination right as I was a little late in getting the thing in front of my face

I like them, I cheated and bought the dice kit from Urchfab. That has inspired me to try making one from scratch

Nothing hugely exciting but made a short 1/4 unc threaded handle out of some Ali bar I had for my milling machine table drive. I’m not sure the thread inside the boss isn’t a little worn as a 1/4 screw is loose when I tried it for size before making the handle, so I made the thread a little oversize. Seems ok in use so we’ll see how it holds up

I've got some spur gears to make for my table drive at some point, I have the biggest and smallest size, so I can either have really slow or really fast table feeds but nothing in between ....

Its an omnimill - I need to see if I have gear cutters to suit. I have a few in amongst my boxes of bits I got with the machine
