I see you’re following the same theme as Doc Brown when he built his time machine in a classic!View attachment 272693
And we're done! Last of the bolts I needed arrived. When the eBay seller I bought the wheels off found out what they were for he was a bit upset as these inline skate wheels are classic wheels from 1997; he tried to offer me newer ones but I wanted the natural colour!
Just need to start a deep hollow form now...

Character, it's called.Today I've made an octopus hook out of a 10mm 316 stainless steel all thread rod.
Made a rudimental lathe using a drill,my brother in-law and another drill .
Shaved part of the threads using my angle grinder .
It's amazing how stainless steel retains heat ,it became red hot under the flap disc .
Cut it to length ,then used a propane torch to heat it prior to bend ,it became red in maybe 30 seconds .
Unfortunately I can't show any pictures of it because something went wrong while applying heat shrink tubing on the foam handle .
It took shape and sizes of .... Well not a family friendly thing but more like the tool required to make a family .
Fortunately it's for a friend who is more like a brother ,so we will laugh a lot .
But I will try to make another handle because it's embarrassing
What an alluring image.Made a rudimental lathe using a drill,my brother in-law and another drill .
My wife and I were very happy for the first 25 years, then we metGood luck Memmeddu. I hope you have as much love , fun & happiness as Alison & I ( married 33 yrs this year & it's still very good ) .
Very neat job - looks they’ve always been there!A pair of curved handrails, actually made them last summer, after making one for the chancel the previous year ,they asked for these,so fitted today.View attachment 272750View attachment 272751View attachment 272752View attachment 272752View attachment 272753

It's amazing the cheek of some sellers .. they want you to buy something and use it like they would.View attachment 272693
