Repaired the insulation , soldered the broken wire .
Used cotton tape, insulation paint e cotton wire .

The bearings eventually arrived for the roller so got them fitted and a pin made, also made up an acetal wear spacer for the bottom but it is not in this pic and the reason why the roller looks low.
The 45 degree stainless fitting also arrived so I got that welded to the flange.
After a wire brush.
Got the valve etc fitted and cut a curved plate on the plasma for a support and got it welded.
Also turned the insert round in the capto block so that the threading bar is at a better orientation for a manual lathe.

Over last few days an memorial book for a friend who had a client who died (they work in special and additional needs education).
3mm ply, engraved and stained with a mix of Burmese teak and light oak stain to give it a nice warmth. Sanded multiple times and then sanded a little more to give some aging and depth. The paper was cut with the laser to ensure that it was a perfect fit.
Might not be metal but I made it.

After melting one of the contacts in my new Elliott drill press I ended up rewiring it and making a bracket for the new switch.
Now that the old Fobco is surplus to requirements I thought I’d modify the stand I made years ago to fit my bandsaw. I might still add casters I’m not sure though.

I hammered the bends back into a semi round shape. Might chop them off and buy some elbows.

You need one of them bending springs you put in the tube, or pack with sand.
