Excellent Idea, put on the 'to copy list'.When I tow my caravan or a trailer have find it impossible to check the brake lights are working with out the help of another person.
I had a bit of spare time today so I made a gadget to press and hold the brake pedal so I can check the lights on my own.

Bit of 3 x 2 and a half brick is what I use.Excellent Idea, put on the 'to copy list'.
I don't even bother with a brick and I am sure the last bit of wood I used was 3/4" x 1& 1/2" mine must be light weight M sport version.Bit of 3 x 2 and a half brick is what I use.

Top job I would say,Not exactly made today, it's taken a tad longer and still not finished. I still have to do some shaping on the final two into one transition and fit a 45 degree bend and V band fitting. No comments on the welding please, my old hands aren't as steady as they used to be

Do they get any ballast?good morning all, just my contribution. Have had the plasma going recently to cut some 6mm 5083 to construct some pontoons for a Sydney customer

That was the last sheet to go onto the plasma. We started construction of the pontoons

And as of today about 90% completed. Just the bow and deck to weld down. Ten we start on the second one, hopefully to be completed by the end of next week

Old pressbrake ain’t bad on a lathe for a oily toe ragIf you remember a few pages back @pressbrake1 posted a picture of the shaft he was machining. Well, here is the shaft, finished. Just running it down for hard chrome & grinding tomorrow morning.
130mm in diameter and about 37kg down to probably 12kg (will weigh it exactly tomorrow).
