That is what you call A Tool BoxMade a start on the workshop belated cleanup, not had a proper dung out/restock/wipedown in twenty years.
Cleaned up my trusty rusty slotted table, removed half of Surrey from the slots and gave it a large portion of scotchbrite, brake cleaner and maintenance spray.

About eight hours of putting away, at least a gallon of brake cleaner/elbow grease and it scrubbed up ok. Just need to go down the other side now

I've usually put 1/2 " of white spirit in a small tray & soaked the oil stone in it for 10 min or so then wiped the stone clean , done the other side then lightly oiled up with oil and a spray of WD 40 . Any cases got the white spirit treatment tooIn the picture below. Top LHS are two Stanley Yankee screwdrivers.

If your doing what I think and it’s for outside make sure it’s galvanised as the rust will come through the gap

As mentioned earlier they have barrels they use, if outside they just shove the micky mouse ears on and attach to the hose. That looks interesting .
Can you make a slip under deep tub C/W some sort of splash retaining lid with a water drain tap in the tank to hold enough water so they can be run up . Maybe putting the reinforcing webs further to the outside edges to give you more room ?
