The plaque was made from leftover mix when I did my gate pilar caps slung into some concrete moulds I scored for free. The paint, the Sandtex used to paint the caps. The 3D printed numbers etch primed and top coated in a can of "silver" found in the garage. Just got to "glue" the numbers on.

First sourdough, not bad, tastes lovely. Just need to tighten the shape a little more before final prove and baking next time.

I made some bits for the skylift. Instead of two part fittings (gold colour) I made single piece ones, also made a bobbin.

Threaded in some M8 stainless screwed rod and made a T nut for the other end.

It is to go through the rear axle of the Africa Twin.

It means I can leave the strap in a loop and just slip over the two bobbins instead of round the swing arm as per pic below.

It's a small hamlet in the bottom of a valley on the outskirts where I live. We get snowed in on occasion and the road floods. The first is probably the cause of our webbed feet but it helps with the second...

Yup, most will gasp at the price and (especially on this forum) say they could have made for a fraction.

Saw one at some friends several weeks ago and was impressed; 4mm rather than 3mm and incredibly well cut - fibre laser? The stainless grill that sits across is 6mm and has proven very useful.

Oh, and I've used and cooked over ours four times since it arrived a month or so ago - don't think our friends have used theirs yet!

With working from home for 18mths, nowhere to go, and my Lancia integrale only being 24 quid a month to tax, I haven't bothered taxing it.

Lockdown here again, that means time to drag things I never finished out of the garage! Both swivel plates cleaned and repainted, regreased and with new balls.

Been wanting to knock one of these up for a while, seat base has been in the fabshop for ages, well today finally decided it was time, have a few TIG jobs that would be far easier sat down. Seat swivels, and it folds out of the way..

Lawn tractor seat, some 30 x 30 tube, 20mm dia tube welded into the end of the frame, big bolt for swivel on seat base, 10mm plate and 50 x 50 angle for hinges.. Bolted on, as it might get relocated to a smaller dedicated table later.. Works well, height is spot on for table, might need to make up a box for the pedal to sit on, just a wee bit too low to be comfortable... Will try it first to see how it goes, that can be done later. Might even paint it, next time have some left over in the spray gun...
.Just need to get some 20 x 2 flat strip (removable) to seal the spaces between the plates on the bench to avoid spatter dropping through onto my lap... .

Great idea but dont forget to cut those bolts down!!!! I can imagine the pain of catching a knee on them ........................
