Oh no, its the fun to have it clean and clear then fill it with junk of welding cock ups to then spend an hour try and find a tape measure or vernier

On the elusive tape measure. I have gained more than i thought i had. I was routing for one every day while rebuilding the work shop. Now its near done i seem to have come by 6 of them. one i thought went AWOL a long time ago lol.

What is it with tape measures, or is it just me.

Tape measures and dust pans and brushes.

I must have six of each, tape measures I'm getting better with, when I find them lying around they go in the measuring drawer, dust pans and brushes, I can never find.

When I packed up the workshop I found three dustpan and brushes and two yard brooms I also found all my Imperial tape measures. The metric one never goes missing as I rarely use it

My nan is 96 and has problems getting up from her chair, shes had one of these stander things but it wont work with her chair, it doesnt have a liftable cusion and the handles are far too high and too far forward.

So my guess was reasonably accurate then

I would have thought the tool would have been mounted radially (or is it perpendicular - my brain is fried after spending 9 days working at an event!), so the cutting force was more direct into the holder, but I'm guessing it was more a case of what was available, rather what would be technically more robust?

I did manage to get some tacks inside, holding the filter mesh but, couldnt get a bead on the sheet any where near the cup, without punching holes in it and the 308l filler did not want to flow. Torch angled at the sheet. 25-,45A. 1mm sheet and 0.5mm cup.
I did try a bit of mild filler too.

Rain happened after.. waiting for it to stop so I can pack everything away!
I did get the fan mount and tube stuck with slightly more success, but rained again before I could start the inlet tube.

It’s very robust. It’s a 12mm ground carbide insert in a 36mmx20mm custom made toolholder With zero overhang. You don’t see it in the photo as it’s at the bottom of the turret disc and, if I showed you I would have to kill you ….

I thought as the boring bar holder was most prominent in your pic, that's what you had used!
