I finished welding nan's chair stander. I made every mistake possible with the tig, starting with the first tack with the gas off and most of it far too hot. Practise blowing and filling holes in 1.5mm wall tube! Gave it a quick coat of red hammerite.
Stuck my tig torch holder together. Learnt a lot, but the welds are poo, and my bottle is now down to 80 bar!
Edit.. couldnt leave the welds as they were
I think Im going to add a few more bits... Pocket on the back for dirty tungstens, pocket on the side for the long ones/2.4mm's, and Im going to keep them in it rather than the plastic boxes!
Possibly another pocket on the left side for the reds.
