Stuff you have made today

Made a frame for "The Heavy".
I can move it around the workshop on my own... Just.
Will use it a bit and maybe make some storage on it before painting it.

That's one rather top heavy bench , It'll be a shame if you waste the storage space under the bench . ( I know you said you'd be thinking of it ) .
Weld a four bottom shelf hollow tube bar set on it and cover it in 20 mm construction ply & weld on a towing eye or two at each end , you can always use a 6 foot length of 3x3 " or an anchored block & tackle set with six to one pully's on it to move it around when it's reasonably loaded up .
Plus a bottom bar set will give it tremendous strength & when loaded a lot more stability .

Well, not a physical thing made, but yesterday & today I swapped over to my winter alloys & tyres. Should make those essential bad weather journeys have less potential for

Alloys have been powder coated over the summer so this is their first time on the car since last Winter. They're Wolfrace ones but need spacers to clear the suspension upright/brake caliper because of wheel offset - setup works well. These are they......

A mate of mine sent me a picture of a coat hook made of one and a bit horseshoes. ' got a couple of them in stock, I'll have a bash at it.' THREE BLOODY HOURS LATER! I finally managed to sort out, vacuum the sawdust, throw away the ity bity little bit's of wood and steel, Then put it all back.
I did find the horseshoes and cut and welded it. It's in paint now.

That's just 2mm mild, used a lot of small bits left over from other jobs.

To be fair it would need to be a bit more, there's actually a fair bit of steel in that one, a bit of time as well.
