I have used hammers, as do Kwick Fit. Most times the keep the bead seal.

How can you do it with adjustable please?

This is the start of an outdoor fire/grille/oven I’ve had on order a few months,will have a s/s fender
resting on the variable height notches,one each end,then a grid sitting in the angle frame,an ash pan and a cowl,with flue spigot.
I haven’t designed it,my customer produces hand made tents and canvas structures,this is going to an outdoor centre.will post more when completed.

I found a round tuit. Made up a 52.00mm test peice.

Good fit. Should take the guess work out of measuring spindle mountings. 100mm lump to become the new er40 chuck. Made up some new chuck shims from pipe.

Next I need to repair the compound..
