I literally feel ill when trying to sort out my stashed gear.I cannot believe this forum. Uncanny the way things coincide .Just spent the day with grandson moving my "alternative parts dept " from the bottom of the garden to the front ready for the arrival of the skip. the state of shock is just beginning to take hold. All I've got to do is resist the urge to have another rummage just to make sure nothing is recoverable .

Snap....I just cannot get rid of anything, because in my mind I want it. Also know some of it is worth money. I have recently found dads record vice, which was old when I was a toddler.
I know if I were to just dump it all, I probably wouldn't miss it, and the money has been spent and gone, but still I can't do it. Its a sickness.
What will I do if it was all gone ? Climbing the walls probably. Just cant imagine having nothing to do

When we were moving the "spares dept yesterday my grandson commented on the fact that I could remember virtually every item and its history. It's just a pity that I can't remember which day of the week it is.Overwhelmed is how I feel trying to sort stuff out. I go into the garage, can't move for stuff and come out again. Everything has a story, triggers a memory or is part of a plan.
Yeah, I was full grown at a young age, but have widened slightly over the years. The top snap makes the collar a bit tight now, and the waist tie strap for the bib seems a little bit shorter. But does it still fit!
Same here, got to have a project to keep me going, and have to have all the necessary the tools to do what I know I'm capable of doing................................................ What will I do if it was all gone ? Climbing the walls probably. Just cant imagine having nothing to do
This vice. I have had it since starting work, I don't even remember who gave it me. It has been installed in every shed, garage or workshop I have ever had.
44 years and counting.
don t see anything wrong with keeping stuff personally , as long as kitchen etc is clean and hygenic and your a decent person to others , this idea that you must live in a empty white box with no momentos of family around you is bizare , yes you don t want to be keeping yesterdays pitza box and trash we can all agree on that .Not playing for fear of embarrassment. I'm nearly 60 and only sold one thing ever. That was to someone on here at cost. To say I'm a hoarder is an understatement.
