I never had luck with a glass bed. My new printer has a magnetic spring steel one with a rough texture. Stuff sticks really well. To remove just pop of the plate and flex.

You can get smooth sprung steel, but it's not as durable, as it's just a tape applied to the steel, whereas I think the textured ones are a heat cured process.
I've got a smooth sheet for each size of printer, but I only ever use them if I really want a smooth base.
If anybody does want some spare original Ender 3 beds, I've got a couple of the original thick ones, and a couple glass beds gather dust.

I'll dig them out the workshop later, but one I don't think has ever been used, and the other has been but has a copious layer of 3DLAC on it.

I didn't explain very well, the infill between the lines is missing on the picture. The right hand side of the helmet straight line and left side curved bit.

Cheers that gives me an area to look at. I have noticed that circles are a bit wobbly too so maybe the unit is not quite setup correctly?

Looking at it again the outer most feature on the left side looks to be a different shape. If this is a download file check in your slicer layer by layer and check both sides. If both sides are the same without the fault then it’s likely to be a printer fault

Thanks again, yes it is a downloaded file. I will take a look and see if I have assembled it incorrectly as it does it on all my prints.

Would it help to orient it differently on the printer bed? I guess that has been printed either north-south or east-west. Skew it to some random angle (13 degrees) and see if it makes a difference.
I thought there were models created specially to give your printer a workout, to identify if the most common shortcomings are present in a particular machine. Effectively the 3DP analogue of a ball bar test on a CNC mill.

There are and I have tried one. It does the same so it probably is the way I have assembled it.
