These parts were 100%, solid, you have to be lucky with PETg and where you park, or your part has to have basically zero load on it.

I'd rather not rely on being lucky. No OEM uses anything below fibre filled ABS or PC/ABS blend in interiors and under bonnets, for good reason.

I've left a couple PETG parts on the dashboard of my van during the summer, and they didn't suffer any issues, however I wouldn't use it for anything structural that was going to be in direct sunlight.

The glass temperature of PETG is 80-85degC, which at the height of summer in the UK, and if printed in a dark colour, you could exceed that point.

Around an engine, I wouldn't use PETG for anything mounted on the engine.
I'm actually not sure what I'd use, as ABS will die quite quickly near oil.

It's worse than that, if it's under any sort of decent load the distortion temperature for petg is more like 60-65c - and 5-10c lower than that if it's anywhere even close to it's normal yield - that's easily hit in on a 35c+ summer day with an hour or two in sunlight.

Couldn't get a 22mm straight hose adaptor today for love nor money, bar buying 3m of copper tube and making one that way.... back to the HTPA:

It was a file on the SD card supplied. Standard pla from Bambu basic range.

I can honestly say I think the Bambu is great compared to the Ender 3!

Looks great quality for an 'out of the box' print
Certainly better than mine. I do like the tree supports, they look weird but are a lot quicker and easier to remove.

Yes a previous print had a lot of moisture, I dried it in the oven but obviously not long enough.

I'm not sure they were needed but better a completed 7.5 hr print than a failed 7hr one
