guilty , very guiltyIt can't only be me can it?.... You see an item for which you have no real current need for, but you have to have it as 'that is going to come in useful one day' I've done this numerous times, some of these bits have been on the shelf for decades. But the latest item has been sitting around for a mere 2 and a bit years. Its the huge reversing switch that @skotl advertised (just pay the postage) on this site. I've just finished tidying it up and installing it on my DSG type 17 this afternoon. The type 17 DSG has a clever mechanical reverse on the speed selector, but reverse isn't available on all speeds. It's a lot easier and quicker to just reverse two phases to back the tool out when screwcutting.
